North Goa and South Goa Are Not the Same Day
One busy beach belt, one quieter sand stretch, and a ten-hour highway on either end. Plan them as separate coastal days inside the four-day frame — not as a single afternoon loop.
North Goa
North Goa is the denser half of a first-time road trip: longer public beaches, the fort headlands around Aguada and Chapora, and evening markets that stay busy after dark. It is also closer to the usual hotel belt most Pune travellers ask for on a four-day package.
The classic North beach run. Expect crowded parking on weekends and festival weeks. Your chauffeur drops and waits at legal lots; we do not invent water-sport prices or book jet-ski operators on this page.
Two headland forts with views over the Arabian Sea. Entry rules and any ticket charges are set on site by the authorities. Treat them as short walking stops, not all-day monuments.
Saturday night markets and beach shacks are popular add-ons. We drop you and wait; we do not steer you to a partner stall or quote food prices.
South Goa
South Goa is a different tempo: longer stretches of open sand, fewer neon strips, and more time in the car between beaches. Most groups keep one full day for it after settling in the North, rather than trying to cover both coasts in a single afternoon.
Palolem, Colva and similar South beaches are a dedicated day from a North hotel, not a lunch-hour detour. Distances add up. Swimming conditions change with season and tide — your judgement, not a promise from us.
Old Goa churches and Panaji waterfront are common requests on the same circuit. Monument tickets, dress codes and photography rules belong to each site. We do not publish ticket fees.
June to September brings lush ghats on the Pune–Goa drive and rough seas on many beaches. The package still runs; swimming and cliff walks may not. We slow down in fog and surface water rather than keep a rigid timetable.

Four days is the honest minimum
Pune to North Goa is about 550–600 km and 10–12 hours each way. A 3D / 2N dash is two highway days with one thin beach day — you cannot honestly see Calangute, Baga, Anjuna and Palolem or Colva in two nights. The hub lists 4 Days / 3 Nights so North and South can be options on separate days, not a fake full-Goa loop.

No invented activity prices

The package is 4 Days / 3 Nights at ₹39,000 (2 Adults), matching the Goa Coastal Road Trip entry on our Maharashtra tour packages hub. That figure includes a private AC Swift Dzire, one AC hotel room, toll, parking and driver allowance. Meals, water sports, monument tickets and personal expenses are not included. Larger groups and other vehicle categories are quoted on the outstation per-kilometre card: Sedan ₹13/km, Ertiga ₹16/km, Innova Crysta ₹22/km (250 km/day minimum average) and Tempo Traveller ₹32/km (300 km/day minimum average), plus driver allowance ₹500/day, night halt ₹500/night, with toll extra on per-kilometre trips.
How far is Goa from Pune, and how long does the drive take?＋
North Goa is roughly 550 to 600 kilometres from Pune depending on the exact drop point. The drive takes about 10 to 12 hours with meal and fuel halts. That highway block is why Day 1 and Day 4 are almost entirely on the road. A 3 Days / 2 Nights plan is two long drives with one thin beach day — we do not sell that as a full Goa sightseeing tour.
Does the package include North and South Goa?＋
As a planning frame, not a promise to see all of Goa: Day 2 is typically the North belt (Calangute, Baga or Anjuna, plus optional forts). Day 3 is either South beaches (Palolem / Colva side) or Old Goa and Panaji. Tell us at booking which Day 3 you want. A 3D / 2N timetable cannot cover both coasts honestly after the 10–12 hour drive.

Pickup is flexible anywhere in Pune, PCMC or near PNQ. An overnight halt on the highway (for example around Kolhapur) can be added only if you ask and it is written into the quotation — it is not part of the base ₹39,000 hub line.
