City Palace, Amer Fort and Jal Mahal
A full sightseeing day in the Rajput capital. The City Palace complex, still partly the residence of the Jaipur royal family, houses the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal courtyards. The drive continues to hillside Amer Fort and a photo halt at Jal Mahal, the palace sitting mid-water in Man Sagar Lake.

Aravalli highway drive and Lake Pichola
A scenic road transfer south through the Aravalli range to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Evenings are kept free for Lake Pichola, where the boat ride past Jag Mandir and the ghats at sunset is the highlight of the tour for most travellers.

City Palace Udaipur and the Blue City
Morning at the Udaipur City Palace and Jagdish Temple before driving to Jodhpur. The approach into the Blue City, with indigo-washed houses spread below the ramparts, sets up the fort visit planned for the next morning.

Mehrangarh Fort and Sam Sand Dunes safari
Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, rises 122 metres above Jodhpur and holds palace courtyards, galleries and cannon ramparts. Afterwards you drive into the Thar desert to Jaisalmer for a camel safari on the Sam Sand Dunes and an evening at a desert camp with folk music.

Golden Fort and tour conclusion
A final morning inside Jaisalmer Fort, the living sandstone fort where families still reside, along with the Patwon Ki Haveli mansions. The tour concludes with your drop at the station, airport or onward point of your choice as per the agreed itinerary.

How much does the Rajasthan tour package cost?＋
The package starts from ₹18,500. The final figure depends on the vehicle you choose and the total kilometres your itinerary covers. Outstation running is billed at ₹13 per km for a Sedan, ₹16 per km for an Ertiga and ₹22 per km for an Innova Crysta on a 250 km per day minimum average, and ₹32 per km for a Tempo Traveller on a 300 km per day minimum average. Driver allowance is ₹500 per day and night halt is ₹500 per night, with toll and parking extra.
Which vehicle should we book for a Rajasthan road tour?＋
For two travellers an AC Sedan is sufficient. Families of four to six are most comfortable in an Ertiga or an Innova Crysta, which handles long desert highway stretches better and carries more luggage. Groups of thirteen or more should book a Tempo Traveller. All vehicles are private, air-conditioned and sanitised before handover.
Is hotel accommodation included in the package?＋
Hotels are not included by default. The package is built around the private vehicle, chauffeur, fuel and driver allowance. If you would like accommodation arranged, tell our tours desk on +91 97650 66565 and it will be quoted separately alongside the vehicle cost.
Are monument entry tickets and the camel safari included?＋
No. Entry tickets for forts, palaces and museums, the Lake Pichola boat ride, the camel safari and desert camp charges, guide fees and camera charges are paid directly on site. Your written quotation lists exactly what is and is not covered so there are no surprises.
What is the best time of year for this Rajasthan tour?＋
October to March is the most comfortable window, when daytime temperatures across Jaipur, Jodhpur and the Thar desert are moderate and desert camping evenings are pleasant. Summer travel between April and June is possible but the afternoon heat is significant, so sightseeing is usually re-planned around early mornings and evenings.
Can the itinerary be customised or shortened?＋
Yes. The day-wise plan above is our recommended sequence, and it can be reordered, shortened or extended. Common changes include adding Pushkar or Mount Abu, spending an extra night in Udaipur, or starting the tour from a different city.
