Island Fort, Creek Beaches — Scuba Is Optional
The cab package gets you to Tarkarli and Malvan. The fort needs a local boat. Underwater time is a third-party activity with its own fees, weather and permits — we say that plainly.
Sindhudurg Sea Fort
Sindhudurg Fort sits on an island off Malvan. You reach it by local boat from the jetty — boat tickets and any fort entry are paid on site. It is a half-day of ramparts and sea wind, not a drive-up viewpoint, and sailings stop when the water is rough.
Boats run subject to sea conditions. Fees are set by local operators or authorities at the jetty. We do not publish a boat fare here because we do not sell the crossing.
Walking the walls means uneven stone and sun. Closed shoes with grip matter. Photography and entry rules follow the boards on site, not a promise from us.
Tarkarli beach, Devbag & Tsunami Island
Most groups use the two Konkan days for Tarkarli beach, the Devbag sand-spit and creek, and — when operators are running — a Tsunami Island / lagoon boat. These are typical stops, not a locked sequence. Swimming is your judgement based on tide and sea state.
The main public shore of the halt: long sand, a busy water-sports strip in season, and a quieter pace if you skip the operators. Parking and crowd levels change by weekend and festival weeks.
Where the Karli river meets the sea. A short coastal hop from Tarkarli. Treat it as a walk and viewpoint, not a ticketed monument — any boat from here is a local operator, paid by you.
A popular creek-and-lagoon outing when boats are running. Tickets, life jackets and cancellations belong to the boat operator. We drop you at the usual pickup point and wait; we do not sell the ride.
Optional scuba & snorkelling
The hub listing is named a scuba tour because many travellers ask for it. KP Travels does not sell scuba, snorkelling or other water sports, and we do not invent activity prices on this page. Licensed operators on site set rates, medical checks, weather holds and permit rules. Those activities remain optional.
Dive shops and beach kiosks bill you directly. Ask them on the day for current rates. Anyone quoting a scuba figure through a cab company should be treated with caution.
Rough sea, poor visibility, medical screening and government or marine permits can cancel a dive even after you arrive. We will not pretend otherwise, and we do not refund third-party operators.
If you skip scuba entirely, you still have Tarkarli, Devbag, the fort (when boats run) and the long Konkan drive. That is a complete trip. Underwater time is extra, not the product we sell.

Doorstep pickup in Pune
Early start from anywhere in Pune, PCMC or near Pune Airport (PNQ). This is a long southern-Konkan highway day, which is why the hub lists four days rather than a weekend dash.
Drive toward Sindhudurg district
Roughly 400 kilometres one way. Plan on seven to eight hours with tea, lunch and fuel stops — traffic near Kolhapur and monsoon surface water can stretch it. Arrival in the Malvan–Tarkarli belt is typically late afternoon to evening.

A typical second stop: sand, river mouth and a slower walk. Any lagoon or Tsunami Island boat is arranged and paid with the boat operator, not with us.

Short town stops, a lagoon boat if you kept it for this day, or more Tarkarli sand. Exact order is flexible — tell us at booking which two Konkan blocks matter most.

Drop-and-wait only. We do not name restaurants or take commissions. Third night under the package.
Return to Pune

Checkout and depart
Early departure keeps the return from spilling past midnight. A short beach walk only if it does not eat the highway window.
Drive back to Pune
The same corridor in reverse with proper meal halts. Doorstep drop is typically late evening depending on traffic and monsoon conditions.
Four days for a reason
Two highway days of about 7–8 hours each plus two Konkan days is why the hub lists 4 Days / 3 Nights. A shorter frame eats the fort or the beach day.
Scuba is never in the cab fare
The ₹36,000 figure covers vehicle, one AC room, toll, parking and driver allowance. Dive, snorkel and boat operators bill you separately.
Sea state cancels boats and dives
Sindhudurg sailings, lagoon boats and scuba trips stop when the water is rough or permits are withheld. We plan land alternatives; we do not invent refunds for third parties.

No. The hub name mentions scuba because travellers often request it, but KP Travels does not sell scuba, snorkelling or other water sports and does not invent those prices. You book and pay licensed operators on site. Their medical checks, weather holds and permit rules apply. Bad sea or withheld permits can cancel underwater trips even after you arrive.

Yes. The product we sell is the private cab, chauffeur, one AC hotel room, toll, parking and driver allowance. Beach time, the fort (when boats run) and Devbag remain a complete Konkan trip without any dive. Mention at booking if you want a quieter sand-only Day 2.
Can we customise pickup and add an overnight en route?＋
Pickup is flexible anywhere in Pune, PCMC or near PNQ. An overnight halt on the highway can be added only if you ask and it is written into the quotation — it is not part of the base ₹36,000 hub line.
